Tequila Kennels - Brittany Field Trial Training and Handling by Ed Tillson

Runner's Tequila Rose ("Indy") was the only puppy from a special breeding. Ed finished her sire, DC Sawtooth Sam's 4Runner MH, in field trials and was so impressed by Runner's talents that he wanted to breed to him. Indy's dam, TJ's Prairie Rose (sister to FC/AFC TJ's Prairie Blizzard) is a daughter and granddaughter of Ed's 1997 National Champion, NFC/DC/AFC Tequila's Joker.

Indy won the first and only field trial stake in which she was entered, but as Ed has to concentrate on his client dogs, she was not campaigned past that. Indy has a sweet and mild temperament, is very eager to please, has an attractive gait and easy handle in the field, a terrific nose and a great desire to find birds. Her puppies share many of these same qualities and make excellent hunting companions as well as competitors. A son from her first litter by DC Shadow Attack, RJ's Shadow Runner, won the 2013 Texas Derby Classic and was also Runner-Up in the 1-hour Victoire Nationale Derby Championship.

Indy is orange roan and about 19 inches tall. She is PennHIP rated .36L .35R (90th percentile).
